Gearing up for citizen training

Various city and county officials, as well as Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers, attended a recruitment kickoff for the Bourbon County CERT Thursday evening at the Bourbon County Courthouse. The group discussed the purpose of CERT, which serves as support for first responders, and upcoming recruitment events, including a March 14 presentation for the Ministerial Alliance, and a meeting April 3 at a location that has yet to be determined.
